Why fit?

Unlike many cheap wing options, the Unplugged Performance Ascension-R Adjustable Carbon Fibre Rear Wing is a truly functional aerodynamic solution that just happens look beautiful as well! With unrivalled quality construction and attention to detail, it performs just as well in the wind-tunnel and on the track as it looks when parked up.

It differs from most generic rear wings as this Ascension-R wing uses a CFD-developed specialised wing element that has been engineered exclusively to exploit the aerodynamics of the Model 3 & Model Y body. Whilst the wing retains dimensions appropriate for a road-driven car, it creates very significant rear downforce for track and racing applications.

The main wing element uses an adjustable wing bracket in dry carbon to allow multiple angles of attack to achieve your desired aero balance. Please note that this rear wing requires drilling to the bootlid for solid installation.

Rear visibility is not impaired at all after installation as it cannot be seen in the rearview mirror.

Available in either a gloss clearcoat or satin clearcoat finish, both finishes proudly show off their ultra-lightweight carbon fibre construction.

Our partner for this key product, Voltex Suzuka, is the renowned world leader in racing wings and aerodynamics and so it is no surprise that we selected them to produce the Ascension-R Adjustable Rear Wing.

Additional Info

As a high-performance aerodynamic device, this rear wing requires drilling into the bootlid for installation. For Performance models, the factory rear lip spoiler will need to be removed prior to fitment of the brackets. For those concerned with resale value after drilling into the factory boot, spare bootlids can frequently be found for near £500 on eBay or even new from Tesla.

You can vinyl wrap or paint the boot spoiler if you prefer a solid colour and not a carbon fibre finish (although we just love the visible carbon weave!)

You can of course use a Tesla certified bodyshop to install. However we have designed this (and all of our exterior parts) to be able to be installed with basic tools by any professional bodyshop, or a competent home mechanic. There is no specific Tesla tooling or knowledge required to install. The only requirement for install is the ability to follow instructions thoroughly.

No, we don't provide a fitting service. All Unplugged Performance parts are designed and manufactured in a way that any competent professional can install our parts on your Tesla - just the same as on any ICE car.

We do our best to hold as much inventory here in the UK as possible. But of course, sometimes products go out of stock.

How long will it take to get my orders?

It depends on where you are. Orders for the UK will be processed immediately and typically take 5-7 business days to arrive.

Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

However, if a product shows as being unavailable from UK stock, we will need to source from the Unplugged Performance USA team in California. In this case we will let you know the expected delivery times as soon as possible.

What about warranty?

We are entirely confident in our products, and offer a 12-month warranty against defects or design faults within fair use.

If your Tesla is still under manufacturers warranty, please be aware that fitting aftermarket parts may affect the Tesla terms and conditions - although only for those mechanical elements relating to the fitment of our products.
