Why fit?

How to make your Model Y stand out from the crowd, bring it bang up to date, and create a stunning front-end appearance? These were the questions we asked ourselves at the concept stage of the design of our Ascension Front Fascia System.

Everything we create starts from a perspective of honouring Tesla and the revolutionary DNA held within the Model Y. In turning the dial up with our design we always ask ourselves, is this something that would look appropriate in a Tesla showroom as a special model? If the answer is ever no, we erase the page and start over.

The result? The creation of a new high-performance front-end appearance, but done in perfect harmony with the Tesla Model Y’s groundbreaking engineering.

Designing a beautiful product is one thing. But, for us, it’s just as essential to consider function as well as form. As we took apart the first production spec Model Y, we studied how the systems behind interact with the bumper, 3D scanned all of the components and began lining up how all the pieces integrate.

Of special importance to us is everyday functionality, and as a result we took care to retain ducting for cooling systems, airflow management, as well as auto pilot systems, lighting and towing - all of which still work exactly as they should.

What results is our new image of an Unplugged Performance Model Y. Always respectful of Tesla’s DNA and engineering. It is Unplugged Performance’s evolution of Tesla’s revolution. Art-form created within the lines.

Product Features

The Ascension Front Fascia System is constructed from Impact Resistant Proprietary Blend Polymer, made 100% in USA.

Unlike cheaper front spoilers and bumpers on the market, we’ve designed ours to have flex and to be impact resistant. The impact resistance is comparable to what the factory bumper can take. We did not make this in fibreglass or carbon fibre which notoriously shatter or crack on impact; this product can bend. In fact you can crunch it into a ball and it will retain shape retention and pop back to original shape.

Included in the box is a front bumper cover with under panel continuity, and all related hardware to ensure easy installation. There are no additional parts needed to purchase for a complete and seamless factory-style bolt-on installation.

Additional Info

What about installation? You can of course use a Tesla certified bodyshop to install. However we have designed this (and all of our exterior parts) to be able to be installed with basic tools by any professional bodyshop or competent home mechanic.

There is no specific Tesla tools or knowledge required to install. The only requirement for install is the ability to know how to use basic tools in combination with reading and following instructions thoroughly.

We have designed this to install/remove using factory attachment points so that it can be installed and removed with no trace – particularly important if your car is on lease. There is zero cutting, drilling or modifying the car to install/remove.

Supplied unpainted to allow you to choose your own bodyshop for fitting and painting, or vinyl wrap if you prefer.

I love the front ascension fascia! Really changes the whole look of the Model 3. My least favorite part of the car was the front bumper and this changed it all for me. Noticeable improvement in downforce as well which is a nice touch. Totally transformed the car and I couldn’t be happier. Also love how it doesn’t stick out much more than stock so gives you the good looks without sacrificing front clearance!

Do you install parts?

No, we don't provide a fitting service. All Unplugged Performance parts are designed and manufactured in a way that any competent professional can install our parts on your Tesla - just the same as on any ICE car.

Yes, we do. Although we are predominantly UK-based, we serve customers all over Europe and sometimes beyond.

We do our best to hold as much inventory here in the UK as possible. But of course, sometimes products go out of stock.

How long will it take to get my orders?

It depends on where you are. Orders for the UK will be processed immediately and typically take 5-7 business days to arrive.

Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

However, if a product shows as being unavailable from UK stock, we will need to source from the Unplugged Performance USA team in California. In this case we will let you know the expected delivery times as soon as possible.

What about warranty?

We are entirely confident in our products, and offer a 12-month warranty against defects or design faults within fair use.

If your Tesla is still under manufacturers warranty, please be aware that fitting aftermarket parts may affect the Tesla terms and conditions - although only for those mechanical elements relating to the fitment of our products.
