Why fit?

Why choose UP Dual Rate Springs? It means that you are able to enjoy a 15-30% softer spring rate around town than what is possible with certain low cost standard linear springs – which only have one single spring rate. After experiencing first hand, you’ll find that UP’s decision to take on the additional engineering work and production costs are well justified, as the UP Dual Rate springs allows for a softer ride than ever previously possible, all without giving up performance handling precision when it matters most.

Choose from three different ride-heights to suit your personal taste (plus, for those seeking the ultimate dynamic improvement, our UP Super Performance option), all of which are carefully tailored to match the different weights of either Dual or Single motor cars.

The primary spring rate (cruising around town over bumps and pot holes) is intentionally engineered to be as soft as possible for comfort. When the primary spring rate compresses under load (in spirited driving conditions) the second spring rate transitions in. The second spring rate is typically 30% firmer and acts to reduce body roll, increase grip and enhance precision.

By comparison, when using less-sophisticated lowering springs there is only one defined spring rate and therefore it cannot be made either as comfortable or as dynamic because there is no second transition rate to firm up when needed. That's not a compromise we are prepared to make!

Dual Rate Linear Springs offer the best of both worlds in one spring - improving comfort, handling, looks and range.

Dual Rate means that there are two spring rates engineered into each spring:
> Spring Rate #1: Improved Comfort for most daily driving
> Spring Rate #2: Improved Handling for sporty driving

We offer three Lowered Height Options: (figures based on non-Performance models):
> Mild: 0.7″ drop ('3 finger' wheel arch gap)
> Moderate: 1.5″ drop ('2 finger' wheel arch gap)
> UP Super Performance: 1.5″ drop ('2 finger' wheel arch gap)
> Low: 2″ drop ('1 finger' wheel arch gap)

Note: Performance Models which already have lowered suspension will be a lesser drop by around 0.4″-0.5″, although final ride height will be the same

Note: slight variances in drop will always occur depending on vehicle production variables and specs

Do you install parts?

No, we don't provide a fitting service. All Unplugged Performance parts are designed and manufactured in a way that any competent professional can install our parts on your Tesla - just the same as on any ICE car.

Yes, we do. Although we are predominantly UK-based, we serve customers all over Europe and sometimes beyond.

A product is showing as 'None available from UK stock'. What does this mean?

We do our best to hold as much inventory here in the UK as possible. But of course, sometimes products go out of stock.

Or in the case of certain specialist parts or our wheel range, where there are multiple sizes, colours and configurations these are often manufactured to order in the USA.

So, orders that show as 'None available from UK stock' will be sourced from our team at Unplugged Performance in California. You may go ahead and place your order and we will get it ordered from USA and update you with expected delivery date.

Although you may prefer to Contact Us first, and we can give a best estimate on likely delivery time.

How long will it take to get my orders?

It depends on where you are. Orders for the UK will be processed immediately and typically take 5-7 business days to arrive.

Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

However, if a product shows as being unavailable from UK stock, we will need to source from the Unplugged Performance USA team in California. In this case we will let you know the expected delivery times as soon as possible.

What about warranty?

We are entirely confident in our products, and offer a 12-month warranty against defects or design faults within fair use.

If your Tesla is still under manufacturers warranty, please be aware that fitting aftermarket parts may affect the Tesla terms and conditions - although only for those mechanical elements relating to the fitment of our products.
