The Nurburgring Nordschleife is considered an essential benchmark for suspension development since it’s a very long course with a wide variety of challenging road surfaces and conditions that simulate just about any situation your Tesla may encounter on any racetrack or canyon road in the world. Our headquarters in California has great access to some amazing tracks such as Laguna Seca, Buttonwillow, Thermal Club, and Willow Springs but California’s great tracks cannot compete with the sheer variety of challenging corners available at the Ring!
That’s one of the important reasons why we have established a joint venture facility at the Nurburgring® and have a Tesla Model 3 stationed there purely for the development and testing of our products. One of the fruits of this expensive endeavor has been the consistent development and improvement of this UP x Ohlins TTX Coilover System. Built and serviced at the Nurburgring®, our team has worked tirelessly to refine the system in a way few have ever had a chance to do for any vehicle. The typical OEM manufacturer might come out to the Ring for a couple of days of development, but our car has done many hundreds of laps in varying weather conditions to produce this and other amazing products.
We have not paid to record an official Nurburgring® recognized lap time, and therefore we cannot publish any lap times. However, there is a video of Nurburgring® driver Mischa Charoudin titled “The BEST MODIFIED Tesla Model 3 Performance I Have Driven!”
