A Backstory From 2017:
Our Billet Rear Traction and Billet Rear Trailing Arms are designed by drivers for drivers. Our original full billet Rear Suspension Arm set (rear camber, rear toe, rear traction and rear trailing arms) traces an origin back to the early days of TeslaCorsa in late 2017.  Now, all of the lessons learned from our unparalleled history of road and race Tesla Model 3 upgrade development are brought together in the design and rugged specifications of our Rear Suspension Arms to ensure these are perfect for daily driven high milage cars as well as purpose built race cars. Prior to public release we’ve set multiple lap records in multiple countries using these arms and we’re pleased to finally offer them for wider release!
Daily Driver and Race Cars Perfected – Handling You Can Feel
Even when new, the Model 3 and Model Y has more ‘squidge’ in the factory rubber bushings than we would like. With the power and weight that these cars have to cope with, this softness gets more pronounced as the miles increase – until the point of failure when the rubber bushes give up and tear apart. This is where our replacement arms come in. Rather than simply replacing your arms with new factory replacements, our ultra-strong billet Rear Suspension Arm sets are uprated with sealed spherical bearings (just as many high-end performance cars use) to ensure the problem never returns again.
The UP Billet Rear Traction Arms and Billet Rear Trailing Arms can work in conjunction with standard factory suspension or a fully-upgraded suspension to benefit road feel and ultimately handling. All driving enthusiasts unanimously agree that getting direct feedback, and crisper response with less slop is a great thing. With a Tesla in particular, a key design factor is achieving this without increased NVH (Noise, Vibration or Harshness) problems. Our use of top quality sealed spherical bearings to replace the soft factory bushings is the key to achieveing against all of these aims.
Factory+ Reliability and Unrivaled Construction Materials:
We built every set out of the best materials, we finish them in the most durable finishes and we equip them with the most premium bushings money can buy. Specifically this means we use forged 6061 forged billet which we precision machine in Los Angeles, before finishing in military grade clear Cerakote ceramic hard coating to showcase the natural billet. The arms are then paired with a premium car manufacturer’s sealed spherical bushings that are proven to be reliable for hundreds of thousands of miles. Just like the rest of our suspension which is daily driven tested, raced on and (unfortunately) even crash tested at Pikes Peak, all of our products stand the test of time and carry an industry leading warranty to back it up.Â
Construction Details:
- CNC-milled 6061 forged billet aluminium for superior strength whilst weighing under 2lbs each (lighter than the thinner stock stamped steel)
